         Healthcare Administrator

Duties and Responsibility: As part of their day-to-day tasks, medical office administrators might answer phones, schedule appointments and organize medical records. They process insurance forms, prepare reports and assist physicians with various presentations or articles.
Salary: According to May 2014 data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), most medical assistants, including those who complete administrative tasks, earn anywhere from $10.36 to $20.56 per hour. A medical administrator's pay depends on her or his experience and education, as well as on the type of facility being managed.
Education: Every state has different requirements, however, so be sure to check with the state health board of the state in which you want to practice before setting out to begin your new career.
