Neonatologist
Duties and Responsibilities: Neonatologists are pediatricians who have received additional, specialized training in the care of infants. After completing the three-year residency required for all pediatricians, neonatologists go on to three more years in a neonatal fellowship, learning to care for distressed infants under the supervision of an experienced practitioner.
Salary: A neonatologist’s salary in the United States ranges from between $150,070 and $221,973 per annum based on the Pay Scale reports. In fact, the neonatologists employed in hospitals earned an annual salary ranging between $137,295 and $228,947 while those employed in the medical schools received an annual salary between $113,147 and $211,630.
Education: Neonatologist education begins with earning a Bachelor’s degree. No particular major is required; some courses that could be required include anatomy and physiology, biology and chemistry. Four years of full-time study is required to complete one of these degrees, which can cost anywhere from $3,000 to $28,900 per year.

Orthodontist

Duties: Orthodontics, a specialty within the dental profession, involves straightening teeth and correcting bites. As an orthodontist, you are responsible for locating problems with the positioning of patients' teeth and with their oral development.
Salary: These orthodontists made an average annual salary of $201,030 at that time. The BLS also reported that employment of all dentists was expected to increase 10% between 2014 and 2024. Contributing to this projected increase is the fact that the baby-boom generation will likely need dental services.
Education: To become an orthodontist, you need to graduate from dental school with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DDM), once admitted to dental school, you'll receive both didactic and clinical training. Your courses might include histology, physiology, dental anatomy, pharmacology and oral radiology
